1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing and using SIVY's services, you accept and agree to be bound by the terms and provision of this agreement. If you do not agree to these Terms & Conditions, please do not use our services.

2. Services Description

SIVY provides professional CV and LinkedIn profile revamp services, including:

  • CV Revamp: Data-driven CV transformation based on analysis of current job listings
  • LinkedIn Profile Revamp: Optimization with high-volume relevant keywords
  • Company Recommendations: Curated list of companies to follow based on your industry
  • Complete Package: Combination of all services

3. Service Delivery

3.1 Timeline

  • CV Revamp: 5-7 business days
  • LinkedIn Revamp: 4-6 business days
  • Complete Package: 7-10 business days

Delivery times are estimates and may vary based on complexity and current workload. We will communicate any delays promptly.

3.2 Revisions

  • CV Revamp and LinkedIn Revamp packages include 2 rounds of revisions
  • Complete Package includes 3 rounds of revisions
  • Revisions must be requested within 14 days of initial delivery
  • Additional revisions may be available for an additional fee

4. Payment Terms

  • Payment is required before work begins on your order
  • All prices are in South African Rand (ZAR) unless otherwise stated
  • Payment plans may be available upon request
  • We accept payment via bank transfer, credit card, or other methods as specified
  • All payments are non-refundable once work has commenced, except as outlined in our refund policy

5. Client Responsibilities

To ensure the best results, clients agree to:

  • Provide accurate and complete information about their work history and career goals
  • Submit existing CV and LinkedIn profile (if available) in a timely manner
  • Respond to questionnaires and requests for clarification promptly
  • Review delivered documents and provide feedback within the revision period
  • Ensure all information provided is truthful and accurate

6. Intellectual Property

6.1 Client Content

You retain ownership of all content you provide to us, including your CV, LinkedIn profile information, and personal data.

6.2 Deliverables

Upon full payment, you own the final deliverables (revamped CV and LinkedIn content). However, SIVY retains the right to:

  • Use anonymized examples of our work for marketing purposes (with your permission)
  • Retain copies for our records and quality assurance

7. Revision Policy

All CVs and LinkedIn profiles are delivered in both PDF and Microsoft Word formats. This allows you to make minor edits yourself if needed.

For major updates or if you prefer us to make changes, please email your revision requests to info@sivy.co.za, including your order number in the subject line.

Important:

  • If you do not respond within 3 days of receiving your documents, the order will be closed
  • The order also closes once your documents are approved
  • To reopen a closed order, a reopening fee of R550 will apply

8. Recruiter Database & Review Process

When you receive your optimized documents, you'll also receive a thank-you note with a unique code. This code is used to add your CV to our recruiter database, which helps us connect you with relevant opportunities and increases your visibility to potential employers.

If you choose to proceed without reviewing your documents, your CV will not be added to our recruiter database. Clients who proceed without review are considered "pass-by clients," which may impact the process and cost for future edits or updates.

We strongly encourage you to review your documents and provide feedback to ensure you receive the full benefit of our services, including access to our recruiter network.

9. Refund Policy

Key Policy:

Refunds can only be requested within 2 days of payment.

After this 2-day period, no refunds will be issued because work on your service will have already commenced.

We are committed to your satisfaction and will continue working on your documents until you are completely satisfied with the results. Our revision policy ensures you have multiple opportunities to refine your documents to meet your expectations.

All refund requests made within the 2-day window are subject to review and will be processed within 14 business days.

10. References Policy

We strongly advise against including references directly on your CV. Most Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) cannot properly read or process reference sections, which could reduce your chances of passing the initial automated screening stage.

However, if you still prefer to include references on your CV, we can add them upon request. In such cases, please note that we cannot be held responsible if an application is rejected due to ATS incompatibility issues related to the references section.

A better approach is to have references available separately and provide them only when specifically requested by employers during the interview process. This ensures your CV passes ATS screening while still allowing you to provide references when needed.

11. Limitation of Liability

While we strive to provide the highest quality services, SIVY cannot guarantee:

  • Specific job offers or interview outcomes
  • Exact results from using optimized documents
  • Recruiter response rates or timing

Our services are designed to optimize your professional presence and increase your visibility to recruiters. Individual results may vary based on market conditions, industry, experience level, and other factors beyond our control.

12. Confidentiality

We treat all client information with strict confidentiality. Your personal data, CV content, and career information will not be shared with third parties except as necessary to provide our services or as required by law. Please refer to our Privacy Policy for detailed information on data handling.

13. Lifetime Support

All packages include lifetime support for updates and changes to your documents. This means you can request updates to your CV or LinkedIn content in the future. Minor updates are typically provided at no additional cost, while major revisions may incur a fee.

14. Modifications to Services

We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any aspect of our services at any time. We will make reasonable efforts to notify clients of significant changes that may affect their orders.

15. Governing Law

These Terms & Conditions are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of South Africa. Any disputes arising from these terms or our services will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of South Africa.

16. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to update these Terms & Conditions at any time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated "Last updated" date. Continued use of our services after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms.
